I have a one year lease paperwork from my landlord. I need to get a 30 day extension on my 60 day tourist visa.

Do I also need a tm30 or resident certificate to get the extension or is the lease sufficient. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your 60-day tourist visa by 30 days, the requirements can vary by immigration office. While some offices might accept your lease agreement, many require a TM30 or other proof of residence. It's advisable to check with your local immigration office for their specific requirements, as some may accept evidence such as hotel receipts instead of a TM30.

Check with your immigration office, they’re all different and not connected.

Where are you in Thailand? And do you have a real visa that you bought at a Thai consulate abroad, or did you get a free 60 day visa exempt entry stamp upon arrival?

Always a good idea to take your tm30

That entirely depends on your local immigration office some will definitely want to see your up to date TM30 some will not, best to go and ask them, or just get your landlord to do it for you anyway.

That’s immigration office-specific. You need to check with your local office for their policy. Some don't require TM30 or proof of address for tourism extension. Some require you to show a TM30 receipt. There are some offices that accept hotel receipts instead of TM30.

I don't recall any report saying a lease agreement was accepted for tourism extension.
