Do I need a re-entry stamp when leaving Thailand on an OA visa and can I suspend my health insurance?

I'm returning to UK for a few months soon, but returning to Thailand before my OA multi entry visa expires on 15th December.

Just checking,

I don't need re-entry stamp before leaving ?

Only need to meet COE criteria to come back?

Will be stamped in again for up to one year, or for as long as my health insurance ?

Also, does anyone know if I can suspend my Luma/Tune insurance ( I paid for one year until 18th December 2021) when I leave Thailand and restart again upon entry, thus not wasting a few months that I've paid for? I realise this is likely to be ,no. But thought I'd ask . ๐Ÿ˜ TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is returning to the UK but plans to come back to Thailand before their OA multi-entry visa expires on December 15th. They are unsure if a re-entry stamp is needed before leaving and whether they will be stamped in for a year or as long as their health insurance is valid. Additionally, they inquire about the possibility of suspending their health insurance while they are away.

If you can guarantee getting back in before your visa expires, you shouldn't need a re-entry stamp. However, if for some reason, you cannot get back before then, and depending on when your current stamp expires, it may be worth considering buying a re-entry stamp as a precaution. I had to make a similar calculation when I returned last year. Didn't work out for me though, due to the Covid entry issues.

As long as the visa sticker is still valid you won't have any issues re-entering the country and getting stamped in for as long as your insurance is valid for (up to a year)

As to your insurance question, contact who ever you used to GET the policy or contact the company direct.

๐Ÿ‘ I know I can extend my insurance in Thailand, so if I say buy 6 months to enter, then decide to stay longer, will I be able to get entry stamp extended too?

nope, it doesn't work that way. Entering on a valid O-A visa you'll get stamped in for as long as your insurance is valid for (up to a year). IF your insurance is only for 6 months, then you would need to apply for a completely new extension by meeting the proof of funds and insurance requirements when that one runs out.
