Quick question - Went to BGK Immigration yesterday and Non O application was accepted. They gave me back my passport and a receipt to return in 2 weeks for my Visa at Counter C. Did I misunderstand something - was I supposed to leave my passport with a different Counter yesterday? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user confirmed that they were correct in retaining their passport after submitting the Non-O visa application. They were informed that it is normal to keep the passport during the review period and should return on the specified date for the visa to be stamped.

Nope you're good.

You KEEP your passport with you during the "under review" period

On the date stamped on that receipt that says "return for results" you go back to Section C-1 and they will ink in a Non-O visa and a new 90 day stamp.
