Could a 5-day overstay impact my DTV application as a UK national in Thailand?

I will be applying for the DTV next month, UK national, applying via London consulate. I had multiple flight cancellations in March 2026 due to the Iran conflict and ended up overstaying by 5 days. No fine as they had the waiver in place for genuine cases (although they did initially try to charge me until I showed them then waiver policy online). I have no other overstays. Could this affect my application? If so, what can I do to mitigate any potential issues? Thank you.
Answer summary
The user is a UK national planning to apply for a DTV visa through the London consulate. They mention a previous 5-day overstay due to flight cancellations caused by the Iran conflict, but they were not fined due to a waiver policy for genuine cases. They seek advice on whether this overstay could negatively impact their visa application and how to mitigate any potential issues. A comment reassures them that they are fine to apply.
