Hello everyone... I want to apply for an ED visa through a Thai language school.. I made my search and found three places to choose from .. and I was thinking about paying a visit to the city so I can check the schools vibe and premises by myself.

Question is: Can I be in Thailand on a tourist visa while the school is getting the paper work and the approval letter from the Thai ministry of education for me... so I can take it by myself and fly outside Thailand to get my ED visa from a Thai consulate?

Or Do I have to be outside Thailand while the school prepare the documents needed for my ED visa?

Thank you very much for your help and time. 🙂

Summary so far

The user is inquiring whether they can remain in Thailand on a tourist visa while a Thai language school processes their ED visa paperwork or if they must go outside the country during this time.
