What should I do if I missed my 90-day report date in Thailand?

Anyone have any information about overstaying (missing the 90 day report date) and having to extend? Got my dates mixed up and can’t do my 90 day extension. The immigration officer at the information desk recommended flying out and back in, but I’m on an emergency passport and would rather not risk it.

SO, anyone else miss their 90 day and have to extend manually?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you've missed your 90-day report date in Thailand, there is a 7-day grace period during which you can submit your report without any penalties. If you exceed this period, you may face a fine of up to 2,000 baht. It is important to note that 90-day reporting is separate from the validity of your visa stamp; missing the report does not affect the duration of your visa. You can also report late online after your initial report, but it's advisable to act within the grace period to avoid fines.

Your stamp should be for 180 days. It has nothing to do with your 90 day reporting. 90 day reporting is just to “check in” with the government. If your stamp (180 days) is expiring, it would still expire if you were checking in

Overstay is normally used when talking your visa end date. 90 reporting can be done 15 days before or up to 7 days after. The max fine is 2,000thb but probably 300thb if you give yourself up. It can be done online after the first report.

So there’s a 7 day grace period for late 90 day reports so if you do it within that period you’ll be fine. If you’re more than 7 days late you’ll pay a fine not exceeding 2000 baht (so long as you aren’t arrested randomly before that point).
