Are you allowed to do remote work with the "soft power" version of the DTV? Or is there no difference between "workcation" and "soft power" DTV.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether remote work is permissible on the "soft power" version of the DTV visa in Thailand. There appears to be no official prohibition against it, but the consensus is that remote work can be conducted with any type of visa, provided it does not involve Thai clients or payments made within Thailand. Participants also question if there are any distinctions between the standard DTV visa and the "soft power" variant regarding this issue.

Remote work you can do with any kind of visa as long you don't have Thai costumers or payment from Thailand DTV is tourist visa and not a work permit

I have not seen anyone post anything official saying you cannot. However, if ongoing proof is required I would assume it woukd be in the soft power you originally applied for? Then again coukd you apply for cookery then change to Muay Thai?
