If I am a partner in a Thai company, but I don't work, I can apply for a DTV visa if I meet the requirements (I work remotely for a European company)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual seeks clarity on whether they can apply for a DTV visa as a partner in a Thai company while working remotely for a European company. Responses indicate that the DTV visa application should focus solely on remote work income, and that disclosing Thai company ownership may not support the application.
What do you mean by "Partner" - a silent investor or active "Director" making decisions etc?

If your question is you wanted to present your documents of your Thai LLC as an additional documents, I would suggest you should not do that, because it might jeopardized your application for DTV. This visa is design for individual whose income is base outside Thailand. Thank you..any further questions you can email

Your application for DTV would be based on your remote working. Nothing to do with anything else. No need to mention anything else. It’s not relevant and won’t help your application at all.

I think this should be ok, considering a person on a tourist visa can also own part of a Thai company.
