Has anyone in Phuket or surrounding areas done the Ranong / Kawthaung (Myanmar) ferry crossing? Can you go out and in same-day, or do you have to stay longer?

Yes, can do same day turnaround. Most people just get the stamp and immediately get back on the boat (it’s not a ferry, you charter a longtail boat)
