Is the border open from Nong Khai to Vientiane, Laos? I read posts from December 10th that it was closed?

It's confusing trying to follow your situation. Why did you not apply for an ED visa inside Thailand for your kid? Once she had this you could have applied for a guardian visa. Too late now for you as I think you've got the must leave within 7 days stamp, but your daughter could still possibly get the ED visa. Then it's just you that needs sorted so you need to find an embassy that will issue a guardian visa for you. I'd suggest coming back in visa exempt and applying for the guardian visa inside Thailand but given your history that might be a bit risky.
