What happens if we overstay a few days on DTV? Can we loose the visa?
Answer summary
Overstaying on a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) in Thailand can have serious consequences. If you overstay by a few days, you may face a fine of 500 baht per day, which is payable at the airport or immigration counter upon departure. It's important to note that while a one or two-day overstay often results in just a fine, the immigration officer has discretion in these matters, and overstaying could lead to a stamp in your passport indicating the overstay which could affect future visa applications. If caught during your overstay, the penalties may be stricter, possibly including a longer ban from reentering Thailand. Therefore, it's advisable to avoid any overstays and to leave the country within the visa's allowed timeframe.

You'll pay a fine for a couple of days, for more you'll get banned a certain amount of years. If caught in the street, penalty go higher quicker. You'll definitely get a notice in the system that may or not lead to questions when crossing the border. Avoid it.
The fine is 500 baht per day, payable in cash at the airport immigration counter. Immigration will also stamp your passport to note the overstay, and that stamp becomes part of your immigration record.
Seriously avoid it! And if it still happened, immediately surrender to the immigration office and have a good reason why it happened, you will pay a fine and get a stamp marking the overstay in your passport. You will be questioned and have to sign some documents. If it is just 1 or 2 days I do not believe you need to fear bigger consequences than the fine and the stamp, but after all it's the officer's decision. -> avoid overstaying!
RubyChestnut08 Jesus!!! He is only asking a simple question, why do you have to jump down his throat, and with only a pure assumption that "that" is what he is planning to do? Get a life!
NEVER PLAN to OVERSTAY... you have a great 5 year multiple entry tourist visa... don't risk being questioned by Thai Immigration Officers when you seek to reenter Thailand.
