Hi guys

I just applied and received a Multiple entry tourist e-visa in Italy. As long as you provide all the documents requested very easy process.

It says to apply 2 weeks prior travel but I got the visa approved after 4 days.

A couple of questions:

- Everytime I enter thailand do I need to show them the e-visa print out? or when I stamp in the first time they also make a multiple entry permit?

- am I correct that the latest date I can enter the kingdom is the 15th November?

- Finally which land borders are open to do a quick visa bounce.

I appreciate your help! especially you Tod Daniels!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shares their recent experience applying for a Multiple Entry Tourist e-Visa (METV) in Italy, which they received quickly. They are seeking clarity on whether they need to present the e-Visa printout every time they enter Thailand, the latest date they can enter (15th November), and which land borders are currently open for a quick visa bounce. Community members confirm that the e-Visa must be shown at each entry and provide details about entry validity and possible extensions. They also discuss specific land borders and the potential for questions at immigration.

For bounce Savannakhet is easy (laos)

Just note that there is a high chance of being pulled aside for questioning if you land in BKk a few days before the end of the METV. You may face less hassle at other points of entry

I am in the same position as I've almost finished the online application...

My question is...

It say valid for 60 days, it is my understanding it can be extended for a further 30 days?

I hope so as I've booked return flights with 85 days between.

, you will be stamped in for 60 days when enter Thailand using a Tourist Visa and it's eligible for 30 days tourism extension once per entry. it depends on your embassy whether they accept an outbound ticket after 60 days (that is your visa allows in the first place) or not. Check with them. Please make your own post if you have any further questions.

Did you have to go to the embassy, or was it a 100% online process?

Then why is there Italy's embassy even mentioned?

How did you prove you needed a multiple entry? Cause I have read that’s what they need to grant it !

@Vee***
you have the option single or multiple. No need to proof that you need multiple. You just have to submit the supporting documents 2 inwards and 2 outwards flights and hotel booking.

Q. - Everytime I enter thailand do I need to show them the e-visa print out? or when I stamp in the first time they also make a multiple entry permit?

-> you are supposed to show eVisa PDF on paper every time you enter Thailand on it. Your “multiple entry permit” is on your eVisa, not on your passport

Q.- am I correct that the latest date I can enter the kingdom is the 15th November?

-> right. 15 Nov is the last day you can enter on it to be stamped in for another 60 days

Q.- Finally which land borders are open to do a quick visa bounce.

-> check again when you need to do. Currently, land borders between Myanmar (except ranong) are not open to foreigners. But details about border bounce are out of the scope of this group.

Thank You for sharing this with us.

Congrats 👏👏👏 on obtaining the METV multiple entry tourist visa from the Thai Embassy in Italy.

It's good to know they approved your application for the METV in a few days.

The METV is valid for Entry into Thailand for 6 MONTHS FROM THE DATE IT IS ISSUED... May 20th.

Not 🚫 from the date you first enter Thailand.

So the time in which you can use the METV has started.

Also if you depart Thailand on or before the ENDING DATE of your METV, November 15th ..

you will be STAMPED in for 60 days. And that can be extended for 30 ADDED days.

Be sure to PRINT OUT the Evisa email you received... make several copies. ALWAYS show it to the Thai Immigration Officers upon arrival into Thailand. By land or air.

You will be stamped in for 60 days each entry during the 6 months.

You can extend it for added 30 days at your local Thai Immigration office for 1900 Thai baht.

And you can do a BORDER BOUNCE by air or land... same day if you like.

Enjoy your trip to Thailand.

Safe travels ✈️
