Extention of stay question.

My husbands company is taking long in processing his work permit and his Non imi B visa is expiring on the 27.4.

I thought that you have to apply for a extention of stay min 21 days before.

Now his HR is saying that in Rayong the extension can be done up to 3 days before expiry of the visa.

True?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the process for extending a Non-B visa, specifically whether the extension can be applied for just 3 days before expiration, as opposed to the commonly referenced rule of applying at least 21 days in advance. A comment clarifies that extensions can actually be applied for on the expiration day itself, indicating that the 21-day rule pertains to obtaining the Non-B visa rather than extending it.

You can apply for an extension of stay on the very day your current admitted until stamp expires. The 21 day before rule (at some immigration offices) is to get the Non-B visa issued NOT to get the extension issued.
