Can the financial requirement for the DTV visa be in currencies other than Thai baht?

Hi everyone. I have a question about the financial requirement for the DTV visa.

Does the required 500,000 THB have to be in Thai baht, or can it be in another currency (for example EUR or USD) in my bank account as long as the equivalent amount is at least 500,000 THB on the bank statement?

Thanks for any advice from people who already applied.
