Remember getting a re-entry permit doesn't add any time to your current permission to stay stamp. Make sure that you have enough time on this current stamp to leave and come back without it expiring.

I went back home for more than a month last year, no problem at all, just don’t forget to get a re-entry permit 🙂

You can get it at the airport on the way out- I believe that is the quickest. Just go a bit early to have time, it doesn't take very long.
