Hi all... Small question to ED students. I'm under ED visa and need to go back to my country for few weeks... maybe more than one month.... is that a problem?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user on ED visa asks if it's possible to leave Thailand for over a month and if there are any related immigration issues. Responses highlight the importance of obtaining a single re-entry permit before leaving to ensure they can return without complications. Users share their experiences, noting that having a re-entry permit is crucial, as it does not extend the permission to stay but allows re-entry before the visa expires.

Remember getting a re-entry permit doesn't add any time to your current permission to stay stamp. Make sure that you have enough time on this current stamp to leave and come back without it expiring.
And like people said get a single re-entry permit.

I went back home for more than a month last year, no problem at all, just don’t forget to get a re-entry permit 🙂

You can get it at the airport on the way out- I believe that is the quickest. Just go a bit early to have time, it doesn't take very long.
