Is it possible for someone who entered in Dec on the Samui Sanbox program to extend their stay at Samui immigration for another 30 days or even more please?

The name is Visa Exempt Entry it is not a visa but yes, your friend can apply once for a 30 day Extension of Stay based on tourism before 18 Jan 2022.
