If someone could give me quick advice it’d be greatly appreciated! I need to know two things. 1.) Can my wife also be on my DTV visa, would she need to provide anything, or does she have to have her own?
2.) I do not own a business. I work remotely doing customer service rep online for a company.. Would that be accepted?
Ps- I have not applied just yet. I’m trying to get all of my eggs in one basket first!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster seeks advice on the possibility of their wife being included under their DTV visa and whether their remote work as a customer service rep is acceptable for visa purposes. Responses indicate that the spouse would typically need to apply for her own DTV visa after the main applicant's visa is granted, and she may be able to utilize the financial proof already provided by the applicant. Furthermore, remote work is generally acceptable, but a letter from the employer confirming employment is necessary. There is also mention of a new law favoring same-sex couples that may impact their situation.
Ok, one more thing I should’ve added. We’re a same sex couple.. two woman. I see January 22nd there’s suppose to be a new law in favor of us having to do with this.. can someone clarify?
Guys, actually you can apply dependent, along with main DTV holder’s application. I did it in Hanoi, got mine and dependent for my wife on the same day.
Your wife would apply for her own DTV after yours has been granted. She would apply using the spouse category quoting your DTV and should be able to use the same 500k in the bank you have already shown
