Are those who get the DTV as a dependent allowed to work remotely just like the person who got a DTV for a workation and does the person who already got their DTV have to prove they can financially support the dependent?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the conditions for dependents under a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) in Thailand, specifically whether they can work remotely like the primary visa holder. It is established that the same financial requirements apply to dependents, meaning the primary visa holder must prove their ability to financially support their dependents. There is some confusion regarding documentation, particularly concerning the financial proofs required, such as bank statements and sponsorship letters.

This is where there is some confusion

So I'm coming on a dtv visa as I work online.

Wife and 2 children as spouse and dependents

First set of documents they asked for sponsorship letter to say I am responsible for finances of wife and children

Now they're requesting the wife's bank account details to show the minimum amount I had to show.

Despite the fact in uk she is a homemaker, luckily, we use her account as our savings so there's a large amount in there.

But it seems they are being more thorough in uk with documents

Officially the same financial requirements apply for a dependant.
