Hi all. TIA for all the replies. My current Thai visa info.: 3 months single entry Non imm. O Visa (based on marriage). Expires date: 09 March 2024.

Question

1) : can I do visa extension at CW Bangkok?

2) if yes. How many days of extension will I get? 30/60/90 days?

3) Apart from marriage cert. What else do I need to submit together with extension application?

4) Bring wife?

5) Anything else that I've missed?

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about extending their 3-month single-entry Non-Immigrant O Visa based on marriage, expiring on March 9, 2024. They asked whether they could extend the visa at CW Bangkok, the duration of the extension, documentation required, and whether to bring their spouse. Comments confirmed that the extension can be done at CW Bangkok if they have specific documents, with a possibility of extending for 1 year or 60 days. They advised bringing the spouse and checking with CW for the latest requirements.

1) : can I do visa extension at CW Bangkok?

-> Yes, if you have TM30 receipt with a Bangkok address and proof of permanent address

2) if yes. How many days of extension will I get?
*****
/90 days?

-> Only 1-year extension available is the one based on marriage. You need to meet all the requirements including proof of funds. This 1-year will be added (top-up) to the current stamp.

If you cannot apply for a 1-year extension (for example, not enough seasoning period of your funds), you can apply for 60-day family visit extension. This 60-day could start on the day of application depending on the office.

3) Apart from marriage cert. What else do I need to submit together with extension application?

-> You need to go to CW to get the latest handout of their requirements.

4) Bring wife?

-> Yes, your wife is the reason of your extension and you have to bring that reason to apply for an extension.

5) Anything else that I've missed?

As mentioned, Go to CW to get the latest handout of their requirements. That is the first thing you have to do.

Attached is the general information for 1-year extension based on marriage to a Thai. Detailed requirements of documents vary by the office. you need to get the exact one from the office where you apply for your extension at.

No, but not at CW.

This is the general information for 60-day family visit extension. Again you need to check with CW for their requirements.

hi thanks. Unfortunately, I do not have either TM30 receipt or 90 days report receipt.

- Is it too late to do that now?

- Will I get fined and extension application rejected?

@Esteban ********
, You wouldn't have 90 days report receipt as you are still on the first 90 days. No worry about that.

But you need a TM30 receipt in Bangkok to apply for an extension for 1 year based on marriage or 60 days family visit. Ask your landlord for TM30.
