TLDR : Answer Summary
When arriving in Bangkok from the UK on a tourist visa, it's essential to have a few documents ready. You may be asked for proof of leaving Thailand within 60 days, proof of funds (20,000 baht in cash or 40,000 baht for a family), and proof of accommodation (initial hotel reservation). While you might not be asked for all these documents upon entry, they can be requested by the airline or immigration. Additionally, ensure you have your passport and boarding pass. It's helpful if your visa details are accessible, as showing them on your phone can be sufficient.

I also think the Boarding pass is on a Data base - I once lost my Boarding pass in Dubai after the chaos of the security checks on arrival . I went to the Emirates desk and they looked at my passport and just printed another copy ( all done with no fuss and a big Smile)One of the many reasons why I like flying with Emirates .

The things you CAN be asked for if arriving on Tourist visa:
1) Proof of leaving Thailand within 60 days
2) Proof of having 20,000 baht IN CASH ONLY, or 40,000 baht per family
3) Proof of lodging (first week or so of hotel reservation)
Realistically your airline is the one who might ask for the first one.
Almost no one is asked for #2 or #3 in Thailand unless immigration is looking for a reason to deny entry to you. So if you don't look like a homeless backpacker or aren't from a country that Thais regularly discriminate against (Africa), then you probably don't need to worry.

Ok that is clearer now -Thanks for the information . Sometimes boarding passes get lost in the haste to get off the plane . I have learnt something today -cheers .š
oh yeah also if you had evisa make sure you print them out and have them ready with your passport. Then check your passport as soon as you step away from the counter and make sure you got the correct amount of time. Easy to fix right then, very difficult to fix after you leave
I have been to Thailand 15 times , I am not sure if the boarding pass was ever asked for ? I understand that Blue form /Passport/Cash/Accommodation can be asked for .
canāt see how thatās a thing. I could have had my evisa issued in Timbuktu, but my flight came via Dubai. My boarding card would only show the last leg.
Itās been a thing since Covid so they could in theory trace you if you were known to have been near another passenger that tested positive. No idea why they still ask for it but TIT.
