TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of applying for a third Covid visa extension for their son, whose second extension expires in one month. A comment mentions that the last day to apply for such extensions is November 26th, and advises that the user should attempt to apply, as the worst outcome is a denial.

The last day they are selling the extension of stay is November 26th. The only thing he can do is try and apply for it. The worse they would say is "no"

Actually, I started thinking that the worst case would be that IO accepts your Covid application and denies it with a 7days-to-leave-the-country- stamp.

Sorry for being off the rails..

That is the absolutely the worse thing that can happen, but I'll say I haven't seen it happen yet :)
