Paul Ed wrong, it is NOT visa on arrival. You are talking about visa exempt. Those are 2 different things.

Paul Ed visa on arrival is 15 days and cost 2000 baht, if from most countries can use visa exemption 60 days free, but will be reduced to 30 days

There is no new 30 day e-visa. There are no new visas at all. Currently visa exempt is 60 days if you arrive in Thailand without a visa and are from one of the visa exempt countries. If you have a specific need for an actual visa, you would apply through the e-visa system
