Hello. I have a question. My girlfriend is Cambodian. She gets 14 day visa exempt stamp on arrival. She wants to stay a couple of extra days. Is she eligible to do a 7 day extension at immigration?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Cambodian citizen with a 14-day visa exempt stamp is not eligible for a traditional 7-day extension for her stay in Thailand. She can apply for an extension, but if denied, she would receive a stamp indicating she must leave within 7 days, which could affect future travel to Thailand.
There is an "application denied" stamp that gives you 7 days to exit the kingdom. It would start the day the application is submitted and rejected meaning you would lose any extra days on the existing stamp. It still costs the full 1900₿ and may effect future attempts at entering Thailand or applying for a visa.
Ok. So follow up question. Are Cambodians now allowed 45 days under the exemption? I've seen a couple posts about it, but cannot find anything official online.
Cambodians don't get the option to enter visa exempt. They enter under a bilateral agreement that gives them 14 days, don't think it can be extended. Her best option is to apply for a visa prior to travelling.
