Hi! I'm an Indian citizen having multiple entry visa for Thailand. I arrived Phuket 5th Nov and allowed to stay until 3rd Jan.

I am planning for a border run to "Mae Sai" via land. As an Indian citizen, can I do that? Any issues I might run into? Any information you can provide is highly appreciated.

Here are few things I know:

- I am not allowed to extend my 60 days stay for another 30 days

- I need VISA for most of the countries I can go for border run

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Indian citizen with a multiple entry visa plans to do a border run to Mae Sai but is uncertain about the process and potential issues. They noted that they cannot extend their 60-day stay. Comments suggest checking with the embassy for specific advice, and mention that Indian citizens cannot do border runs without visas for the neighboring countries.

As an Indian Citizen you must return to India and obtain your Thai visas in your home country....as you did with your current VISA.

There is NO BORDER RUN visa on arrival or visa exempt for Indian Citizens.

Why don't you check with your embassy about it. They have specific information on Indian nationals.
