TLDR : Answer Summary
An Indian passport holder currently in Thailand should know that to apply for a new visa, they typically need to return to their home country or country of residence. Comments suggest exploring the possibility of extending the current tourist visa by applying for a 60-day 'visit Thai family' extension, especially given a Thai spouse. However, traveling to nearby countries like Malaysia or Myanmar for visa application purposes may not be feasible. It's recommended to consult the immigration office in Thailand for specific options.

You mention that you have a thai wife. You might go to the immigration office and see if you can get a 60 day "visit thai family" extension or not. I am not sure if you can do it or not, BUT you're out nothing by checking ..
To my knowledge, no. I know it takes 30 days for getting a visa in Malaysia, and I don't think Indians can get a visa in Laos. I know Cambodia is extremely strict. I don't know about Myanmar
