TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can generally use the Thai immigration lane when entering Thailand with a Thai girlfriend on a DTV visa. Many users have shared experiences where they successfully went through the Thai lane without any issues, often after asking immigration officers for permission. It's noted that common courtesy is to ask before proceeding, and having necessary documents ready can facilitate a smooth process.
BKK never a problem, but landborder Sadao we were not even allowed in the same row, I had to go to international row and not allowed in Thai row, she had to go in Thai row and was not allowed in international row.

I did last time (29th nov) but asked first the person at the line separation. An officer walking by said "Welcome thai family" and they allowed us to go thru. Stamped in 2 min. No questions asked.

Last time I went to the foreign passport lane with my Thai partner. The immigration officer told her no need to wait in this lane and I can go to the Thai Passport holders lane with her. I guess if you're travelling with your Thai partner then it's fine to go to the Thai Passport holders lane with them.

RFI DTV In Bangkok it seems fine to do so, but when we were at the land border of Sadao we had to be in separate rows, I was not allowed in the Thai row, and she was not allowed in the international row.
ahh I see. used Laos Nong Khai land border twice with my partner. She came to the foreigners line both times and had no issues. It seems Sadao border is bit stricter in general. Always see posts in different groups that the people having different issues there.

Yes, you can do that. I always do it.
It somehow helps too, they don’t ask any questions and stamp you in right away.

About a month ago I exactly did this with my Thai GF without any problems. Just like at other lanes, keep boarding pass, passport and printed visa ready.
