Can I use the sale memo from my house as proof of income for the Thai Soft Power visa?

For the Soft Power category, one of the core requirements is still proof of financial stability showing at least 500,000 THB (or the equivalent in another currency) held in a personal bank account.

If the funds came from the sale of your house, it is generally a good idea to include official supporting documents alongside your bank statement to show the source of the funds. I understand what you're saying and I have the same concern. On the application form there is a section to declare employment status and income. What if you say 'self employed, zero income'? Will they hold it against you, even if it's DTV2 soft power and you're OK with the 500k?

My agent tells me it's not a worry, and for soft power they concentrate on the lump sum, your reason for applying, type of course membership etc. But it's only an agent's opinion so I can't be 100% sure.
