Good morning all, thanks for the ad 🙏

Asked to join as I’d seen someone talk about getting this visa, using property income in the uk as the reason to apply

I don’t have a big portfolio, but enough to get by.

Would be great to hear from anybody who’s used rental property in uk to apply for the dvt visa.

TIA for any advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires about applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DVT) in Thailand, specifically seeking advice on using rental property income from the UK as the basis for their application. Comments provide insights suggesting that it may be possible if you are actively managing the properties, either directly or through a company that you run, rather than simply having an agency manage them.

You need to show that you manage the properties remotely, if an agency looks after them you can't

Know a guy who used it. Ltd company route and said it was to manage the properties. The company did not "Own" them or any transfer of ownership. Just said Ltd company dealt with agents and approved maintenance quotes etc. He is Director of the company and wrote to himself as employee allowing remote work.
