TLDR : Answer Summary
The question asks whether it is possible to move to Thailand on a digital nomad visa (DTV) with a passive income of approximately £1300 per month from rental properties. Replies suggest that while the income could be manageable in certain cities like Chiang Mai, the individual must also demonstrate financial stability by showing at least 500,000 THB in savings for 3 months. Therefore, managing expenditures and income proof is essential.

Hey I’m looking for someone to manage my property. You don’t have a work permit right?

You can, you may however need to control your spendings as Thailand could be affordable but also very expensive. Choose the right city, go for local food and activities, etc.

You can get a DTV via rental property management. You need to show how you manage the business online. There is no minimum income requirement. You can find several posts in the threads from such DTVERS.

If you can keep your expenses to below 30,000 THB a month, that can work. However you have to show at least 500,000 THB in a savings/checking account for 3 months to qualify for DTV.

with all the inflation and prices going up one needs around 65k baht a mo th for a somewhat decent living, around 5 years ago 30k baht was enough but not in the current economy..
