Currently I am not Non-ED visa and got a job offer . With that said, I am wondering if the company would be able to transfer my visa to Non- B visa and provide me work permit if I accept the job offer.

Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking to know if they can transfer their current visa (not EP) to a Non-B visa after receiving a job offer. Various community members suggested that the ability to switch visas depends on the user's current visa status and documentation involved. They advised visiting the immigration office with a representative from the new employer for clarity, as experiences vary widely.

I'm closing comments. I think this post has run it's course.

I was not able to switch from ED to non B. There had to be ‘visa amnesty period’ in between. The best way is to go to immigration yourself with a Thai speaking person to help out

yep, many people had to cancel their ED visa extension, then get a 60 day covid extension and then during that time apply for a new Non-B visa. BUT some doing that still couldn't switch over inside the country. It seems to be employer and to some extent immigration office specific

whether you can or can't get off an ED visa extension and get a Non-B visa for employment is totally between you, your future employer and the immigration office. The only way you'll know IF it can be done is to go out to the immigration office with a representative from your employer and talk to the officers in person.

In theory it can be done, but it comes down to the employer and the documentation requirements

To clarify...

What visa or extension of stay are you now on ?

Is it an Ed Visa?

If so has your studies ended?

Where are you living now?

Where was the Ed Visa stamp obtained? Which immigration office issued it?

Thank you so much. No it’s not a teaching position. It would be great to know if there is way to change the visa from ED

the answer to your question will rely on cooperation and support of your employer, Thai Labor Ministry and Thai immigration to seek a non b visa for your work. Is it for teaching?

I believe that you can continue your Master's degree studies under a Non b visa and extension of stay.

So right now it appears you are on an extension of stay based on your Master's degree studies.
