TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses whether a person from Pakistan on an ED (Education) visa in Thailand can change their visa status to a Non-B (Business) visa after receiving a job offer for teaching. Comments suggest that it is likely not possible to change from an ED visa to a Non-B visa while remaining in Thailand, and that most individuals would need to leave the country to apply for a Non-B visa.

Probably not possible. Definitely not possible if he is still on the original 90 day ED visa. Probably not possible if he's on an extension of stay.

99.9% of people leave Thailand to apply for a non-B visa as most companies cannot provide the paperwork needed to do it inside of Thailand, and that's not even counting trying to switch from an existing non-immigration visa type.
