Hello! I’m looking for information or experiences with switching from a volunteer/foundation visa to a business/teaching visa through a school. Has anyone done this recently? Can this be done within country? Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion focuses on the process and challenges of switching from a volunteer or foundation visa to a business or teaching visa in Thailand. It is generally believed that this transition can be difficult to do within the country, especially since specific documentation from the school is required for a NON-B visa. Additionally, it is advised to allow at least 15 days for the conversion process and to consider using an agency, although experiences may vary regarding their efficiency.

Save 15 days minimum for conversion, need to use an agency through school ( normally lazy and negligent) . Tip everyone and be nice

I don't believe so. Normally if your on an extension of stay you can move from one reason to another but not on a visa. And given you need to get the Non-B with documents from the school I don't think it would work in this scenario anyway
