You can buy a business in Thailand while on a tourist visa, but there are important conditions. Owning a business does not grant you any visa or residency rights, and you cannot work without a proper work permit and a visa that permits work. Additionally, if you plan to own a business, remember that you can only own up to 49% of a registered company unless specific legal structures allow otherwise. It is advisable to secure a proper business visa if you intend to actively manage your business.

Convert your Tourist visa into a business visa. Check for business requirements before doing so.

Yeah, easy. But you can own just 49% of any registered company. As for business just ensure that you have a contract proving you own the business
What visa you have has no effect on your ability to buy a business. But just having a business also does not inherently give you any visa or any right to stay in Thailand. You also won't be able to work at your business unless you have a work permit and a visa that allows work.

So you can buy a business and sign a lease for it on any visa? (I understand not working in it).
