Hello! We have now switched to a Covid extension and are looking to get the STV visa until we get our visa. Can we switch from a Covid extension to an STV in country. Would love to hear from those who have done it? Thanks!🙂

STV is special tourist visa which gives you 90days first and you cannot covert any type of non-immigrant visa inside Thailand.

Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV or TR) gives you 60days first and you may apply for another type of non-immigrant visa inside country.

NEITHER tourist visa is available IN Thailand.

Not possible to get the STV visa inside Thailand. Only can be obtained in your home country.
