Hi all. As briefly as I can; I currently have a 1 year non-O multi entry based on marriage - valid until Nov 4th. I was stamped in until May 30th, went onto the amnesty and recently got the 60 day visit family extension so I'm good now until Nov 25th.
I'm going to apply for the in-country 1 year extension based on marriage and have just transferred the 400k into my local account.
- Am I able to submit the application right up to Nov 25th or do I have to / is it advisable to apply a certain amount of days before then? I'm looking to maximize the time I get on the current stamp and subsequent extension.
Thanks in advance.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a one-year NON-O multi-entry visa based on marriage and has received a 60-day extension. They inquire about the timing for applying for a one-year extension based on marriage, specifically whether they can apply right up until their current extension expires on November 25th. The community advises that while they can apply close to the expiration date, it is recommended to do so 2-3 weeks prior to avoid risks of overstay and to ensure all documentation is correct.
