Hi. I have an O visa long stay 1 year coming up for renewal. I understand that the affidavit of income from the embassy is no longer issued. That said. I have adequate funds in a bank in America. Is there anyway I can get an income verification and use it in lieu of bringing 80,000 baht into Thailand . Before the embassy letters, I submitted a bank statement from America and it was adequate. Is that still an option of not?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the renewal process for their long stay O visa in Thailand. They noted that the affidavit of income from the embassy is no longer available but that they have sufficient funds in a U.S. bank. They seek to know if it's possible to use a bank statement from their American account for income verification, as they had successfully used it before.
