Hello! I entered Thailand on a single entry 60 day tourist visa that I got in Hong Kong, my country of residence, prior to arriving. I entered on 14 March and my visa expires around mid May. I will be heading to South Africa on 6 May for a week and would like to come back to Thailand. Am I able to come back on the visa exemption program (UK passport)? Is it for 30 days?

As long as you meet the entry requirements in place to get into thailand when you come back you should be able to enter on a 30 day visa exempt entry without any issues at all.
