TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler plans to visit Thailand for 60 days, then Vietnam for 30 days, and seeks to return to Thailand for an additional 30 days. Based on community responses, it is generally possible to re-enter Thailand after visiting Vietnam, unless the traveler has a history of overstaying or frequent entries in a short time frame. It's advisable to have supporting documents like hotel bookings and return tickets when going through immigration.
Yes, should be no problem. As long as you prepare the hotel booking, return tickets and show the cash if they ask. Sometime they have rondom check

If there is no history of coming in and out of Thai (multiple times, more than once) you will get next 60 days stay.

Simple answer is yes..
Unless you have a long history of multiple visits to Thailand or have overstayed in the past..
If neither of those apply to you then you should be fine.

Get a 60 day tourist visa on line, the enter the second time on a 60 day visa exemption.

It’ll depend on the immigration person at the counter you arrive at. Everything should be ok but you may get asked why you are back so soon and told not to try and come back again without a visa
it’s happening to more and more people every week. You obviously don’t keep up with all the threads Just because ‘it hasn’t happened to me’ doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened
it all depends on his stamp history of the recent 365 days. . . . he can most definitely be asked why he is back on a second visa-exempt entry. And they can ask him for the three famous proofs: Cash 20,000 THB, proof of accomodation, and proof of onward travel within 60 days
