TLDR : Answer Summary
Renewing a marriage visa in Bangkok that was originally issued in Pattaya can be challenging, as many immigration offices prefer the renewal to occur at the location of the initial issuance. However, some users have reported successfully renewing their visa in other locations. It is advised to submit a new TM30 form for your current address, and depending on the officer’s discretion, you may need to provide additional documentation.

Wherever your current TM30 address is is where you would file.

as long as you file a new tm 30 , moving ur address ( or some immigrations request a tm 28)

I did my first marriage extension in Ubon. My second in BKK. They acted like it was a big deal but in the end it was granted with no issues. The third was a transition to retirement (tired of the marriage extension drama) in Jomtien and again, no issues.

Most offices will not allow you to apply for the 1 year extension for a 90 day visa that was issued in another office.

If you previously had a 1 year extension and you're wanting to apply for the next 1 year extension then that should be fine.
