Can I pick up my O visa from the Thai embassy in KL a week later after submitting my application?

Hi, I'll get an o visa from the Thai embassy in KL. Will there be a problem about picking it up one week later since I'll head to tioman islands first? I heard that from laos, they can forfeit your visa if you don't pick up your passport the next day.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires about the possibility of delaying the pickup of their O visa from the Thai embassy in Kuala Lumpur for a week due to travel plans. A comment suggests informing the embassy in advance about the delay when submitting the application.

You need to tell them you're NOT gonna show up and pick it up the next day when you drop off your paperwork and passport.

, You shouldn't have a problem, but it's totally up to the consulate as far as if they'll do it for you or void the visa because you didn't come back the next day. Talk to them when you turn in your stuff and see what they say (y)
