I have a question regarding the renewal of a retirement visa. I understand you cannot work in Thailand but is it possible to use regular proof of income from a job outside of Thailand in relation to the requirement of 65,000 baht per month ? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The renewal of a retirement visa in Thailand requires proof of income, specifically 65,000 baht per month. However, it's essential that the funds be deposited in a Thai bank in your name; simply providing payslips or bank statements from overseas does not meet the requirement. It is noted that direct salary deposits into a Thai bank account are likely sufficient. For additional verification, obtaining proof from your embassy or ensuring funds are transferred correctly is advisable.

Gary Strike is going to visit the Immigration Office and ask information and the hand out of requirements to apply for a new Extension of Stay based on being over 50 years of age. At least that is what he asked and replied. Please stop discussions on how to transfer money into Thailand, bank to bank, transfer wise or any other app that you like to use. These apps have nothing to do with Thai visa advice. Thanks.
