Can I leave some fields blank on my SETV visa application for Thailand?

I'm currently applying for a SETV to travel at the end of Dec. On the visa website it's asking me for a lot more info than I thought was necessary for single entry. Is it an option to leave some fields blank e.g. letter from family or friend and proof of earnings/funds? They are all starred as mandatory ...

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The SETV visa requires adherence to all specified requirements. Leaving mandatory fields blank on the application, such as proof of earnings or a letter from family/friends, may lead to denial. While some users noted that an invitation letter is not necessary for the SETV, all requirements must generally be fulfilled to secure the visa.

I'm going to shut this post down. This group isn't taking questions about the eVisa system or the Thai Pass system now. The Farangs Stranded Abroad groups would know the answer. Thank you.

Not sure which website you refer to, but for a SETV you do not need an invitation letter from family or Thai friends.

I would say, skip question 8 and see what happens

hmm I did wonder, thanks for you advice. I've asked the question on the other group that James kindly suggested. Let's see what others say. (I realise I probably didn't need to upload the doc on question 7 as I am applying from my own country - but now it's there I can't seem to remove it!) I also thought proof of funds was not necessary with this visa. It doesn't specify how much you need to show in your account either ..

proof of funds is usually equivalent of 20,000 Thai baht single/ 40,000 Thai baht family.

What Thai Embassy are you making application?

Your passport nation is ??

The SETV visa has specific requirements. Single Entry tourist visa.

Meet them ALL...

And you should get the visa.

Leaving blank any requirement and it will be denied.

I have placed two TOPICS on your post...

Click on them and all prior posts regarding the 60 day SETV visa and its 30 day extension will pop up to read.

And if you wish to discuss what others have done in obtaining the SETV visa suggest you post a question on this helpful forum...

thank you for your reply. But… I don’t have a letter from a friend or family member inviting me to stay… because I am staying in my own prebooked accommodation. It asks for this letter and that persons Thai ID card…

that is exactly WHY I suggested you post a question on the stranded forum.

Others have lots of experience with the SETV.
