I renewed my passport last year and was told that 3 tourist visas were the threshold

I keep hearing conflicting advice

Current visa expires 18th this month

What are my options ?

Any sound solid advice would be much appreciated to save hassle and money

There is no official limit in Penang and you can use them until you pull a red warning stamp then you're done.

I wouldn't trust anything anything an embassy, an agent or the immigration office says :O but that's just me.

I can say with 100% certainty right now there is NO official rule and people who say there is, are pulling imaginary rules out of their backsides. :/

3 from pennang in a year then I would have to seek 1 elsewhere before returning to pennang for another 3

As stated I'm at the 3 point now and need good solid advice. .hence my post

what is the reason you want to hit the thai consulate in Penang again?

You run a HIGH risk of getting the red warning stamp meaning you can't use Penang again for a tourist visa.

keep in mind a tourist visa is VALID for 3 months meaning you have that long to enter the country but you will only be stamped in for 60 days

Laos have always been very friendly. And easy. Rejection rates are not heard of
