Will Bangkok Immigration allow me to apply for a retirement visa extension just one day before it expires?

Hello Everybody, i am arriving BKK 4 days before my retirement visa expiry, leaving me just 1 day's time (considering the weekend) to apply for the extension. I had a medical urgency causing 1 month's delay and creating this tight timing. Would the Bangkok Immigration authorities be ok with this timing?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeks advice on applying for a retirement visa extension in Bangkok, as they arrive just one day before their visa expires due to a medical issue. The community reassures the user that it's acceptable to apply on the expiration date but suggests they prepare necessary documentation promptly and be mindful of upcoming holidays that may affect processing.

Make sure you're aware of all the holidays coming up that might effect your plans.

If I read it correctly you had a problem in your country and can't get back until just 4 days before your current extension expires.

That's fine, the latest day you can apply for an extension is the day the stamp runs out, you don't need so many days left on it to apply for the new yearly extension

BUT

You sure will have your work cut out for you to get the documentation, bank letter, copies, etc together in such a short time.

Sincerely good luck with it
