Make sure you're aware of all the holidays coming up that might effect your plans.

If I read it correctly you had a problem in your country and can't get back until just 4 days before your current extension expires.

That's fine, the latest day you can apply for an extension is the day the stamp runs out, you don't need so many days left on it to apply for the new yearly extension

BUT

You sure will have your work cut out for you to get the documentation, bank letter, copies, etc together in such a short time.
