Is there a limit on how many ED visas I can get?

For example, a 1 year ed visa for Thai Language, and then after, get a 6 month ed visa for Muay Thai, and then just keep doing this for different classes/programs?

And then maybe eventually convert to something long term like business, marriage, or elite visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
There is technically no limit on the number of Education (ED) visas that one can obtain in Thailand; however, practical experiences suggest that after multiple consecutive applications, there may be scrutiny regarding the applicant's proficiency in the Thai language. While one can apply for an ED visa to study Thai language, Muay Thai, and other subjects, authorities might question the intent behind such repeated applications. It's generally advised to keep in mind that ED visas aren't designed for long-term residence, and issues may arise after a couple of years of consecutive study.

Technically there is no limit. However in practice you’re going to run into issues if you apply for a second or third year. Either they’ll grill you on your knowledge of Thai speaking/reading or such. Nothing to stop you getting a Ed visa for learning Thai one year then another for Muay Thai the next and then Chinese for the next. Except at some point someone may well question your intentions. Ed visas aren’t a long term stay option. They’ll give you a year or two perhaps but expect problems trying for more.

Sometimes after 2 or 3 consecutive ed visas they ask questions in Thai and if you don't understand they get suspicious.
