hi,

I arrived in Thailand on December 13th with a TR visa. I did my 15 days quarantine. My visa is valid until 10/02/2021 showed in my passport. At the end of january, I have to go to the immigration office in Bangkok to get my 30 days extension so until 9 march. Do you know if I can get any visa exemption after this date due to covid situation ? Or the only way is to change my visa to Student visa if I want to stay more ?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on extending their stay in Thailand post the expiration of their TR visa, which is valid until February 10, 2021. They inquire about the possibility of obtaining a visa exemption due to COVID-19 after their extension on January 29, or if their only option is to switch to a Student visa.

The last day to apply for a 60 days COVID extension is January 29 per recent immigration information.

Wait and watch...

Ed visa may be possible if enrolled in a reputable Thai language school.

Good Luck.

Happy New Year.
