have just returned from my latest trip to Chaing Mai and stayed 50 days using 60 day SETV. I am due to go again april and wish to apply for another 60 day SETV. I have previously had an METV 90 day issued last year. I am wondering if applying for another 60 day SETV will raise any issues. Or am I better going on 30 day visa waiver and making a short trip out of County i.e. fly to Maldives etc for 3-4 day vacation and then return back to CM ... any ideas suggestions greatly appreciated

TLDR : Answer Summary
User inquires about the implications of applying for another 60-day Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV) after recently completing a 50-day stay in Chiang Mai. They also consider the alternative of using a 30-day visa waiver followed by a short trip out of the country.

Both options should be no problem.
