Hello! 

 My STV (Special tourist visa) expires on 22 august. 

I would like a covid extension visa, do i need a letter from the Indian embassy to show to the immigration? 

What’s the most valid reason i can give to the immigration officer for getting a covid extension visa?

i got an email from Air India that says all rescue flights to india are full. You can show that from your local airline. Or you can take a screenshot of the webpage that shows no flights available to your country.

they asked me to come on the second last or the last day before my STV expires with a proof that shows there is no flight to india.

The only extension available for you is a 90days STV extension.

Sorry but the STV visa cannot be changed into any other visa inside Thailand.

You will have to leave Thailand by the expiration date of your current permission to stay date stamped in your passport which you say is August 22nd

It's a rule that was disclosed when you applied for the STV visa. The visa allowed you a maximum of 270 days in Thailand.
