Please assist.

I am trying to fill in my digital thai arrival card ( DTAC). My arrival date is 3rd May 2025, as I write the date today is 3rd April 2025. It says my arrival date is invalid. Do I have to wait until 1st May before I can apply (3 days). Is it not possible to apply before ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai Digital Arrival Card (DTAC) can only be filled out within 3 days before your arrival in Thailand. Since you plan to arrive on May 3rd, you need to wait until May 1st to complete the card. Various comments suggest that the system may not yet be fully operational and that there have been some misunderstandings regarding its functionality before this 3-day window. Additionally, the transition from a paper form to the digital format may cause some initial confusion among travelers.

I'm pretty sure it's 3 days before your intended arrival. It might be causing problems because it hasn't been officially implemented yet. I guess after
****
you'll be able to fill it out further in advance

What’s the website address to fill out this information please?

Does anyone have any information on what they are asking for with the medical section of the form?

@Ricky *****
probably about travelling from Africa or other known yellow fever areas. Its normal i do it often you have to report to medical booth if you coming from one of those countries show them your vaccinations and they mark your boarding pass as checked.

What is so hard to understand about withing three days".

Like why would you try to file it now, at the beginning of April if you're not coming here until May 😅🙄

You fill it out within 3 days before arrival. .

DTAC is a phone company. The form in question is TDAC, just to make it as confusing as possible.

The new digital form is very medical (short term ailments) oriented, so it makes sense that they don’t really want you filling it out a month before your flight.

The website is technically working now it’s just not mandatory. If you’re arriving within the next three days and for some reason you feel the urge to fill out the form, you could do it.
Wayne *****
Can only be done 3 days before you arrive!!!!! FFS, do your research 🥴
Colin *******
What's the latest you can do it...date of arrival?

@Colin ******
there in lies the real question.....the official line is this....

WHEN SUBMIT?

Foreigners should submit their arrival card information 3 days in advance of arriving in Thailand, including the date of arrival.

@Ashley *******
I’ve done it the same day for Singapore and Malaysia. Takes 5mins and you get a response e mail within a few minutes so I’m guessing it will be the same
Anna *********
Yes you have to wait and no you can’t do it early.

WITHIN 3 days is the instruction 😀
Julian ***********
3 days before and it replaces the form you used to complete on the plane, so no rush.

You will still need the DTAC from next month rep or no rep 🤔

I went to koh samui in September 24. Flew etihad, a lovely rep picked us up when we landed at Phuket and took us down the corridor to the vip and air crew immigration desk where they just stamped the passport very quickly, she then escorted us to our domestic flight to Koh Samui. I didn’t fill in any forms. This maybe because we landed within one hour of our domestic flight. They were fantastic, super efficient.

Another person who didn't read the article and then gave some soppy feel-good story which is totally irrelevant to the topic! 😂

@Nick *******
no it’s because it doesn’t start until May 1st 2025

Very good question because I am leaving on the 30th April and I will be in Bangkok on the 1st of May

I was going to do it on 29th and see what happens, but I don't trust the thai immigration
