I've been told I can extend my tourist visa at Bumrungrad hospital instead of going to Chaeng wattana. Can anyone confirm this. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can extend your tourist visa at Bumrungrad Hospital. They provide a visa extension service on Saturdays for 30-day visa exempt entries or tourist visas. The total cost for the extension is 2500 baht, which includes a 600 baht service fee. You need to drop off your passport and pick it up the following day.

Okay, anyone can go to Bumrungrad to turn in your passport for them to go do your 90day report for you..
You will have to drop it off and then pick it back up a day or so later and there is a 600baht service fee.
They ONLY do extensions of stays on Saturday and they only do them on a 30 day visa exempt or a tourist visa.

Its friday this week, due to the holiday on saturday. Just a heads up
, on Saturday mornings there is an immigration officer that goes to Bumrungrad to do the extensions on the spot. BUT as I said that's the ONLY day you can get extensions done there.
, is the sat 30d extension service same day turnaround?

Sounds awesome. Drive to and from CW and waste my life there for 3 hours has gotta be worth 600b. Good to know 🤙

Derek, not one second longer, :/ You can extend a 30 day visa exempt stamp or a 60 day tourist visa by 30 days just like at the immigration office. They charge the 1900 plus the 600 baht service charge plus a photo charge if you don't have a passport sized picture.

Search 'in group' for bumrungrad and you'll find the post.

For 90 day report one presumes they need the same as at CW. Perhaps you could report back if you go.
